The importance of financial wellbeing

At this year’s Kick-off event in January, we invited one of our much loved clients and financial adviser pro, Sam Secomb, to come and deliver a session on the importance of financial wellbeing. Sam delivered an insightful session on the importance on being your own BFF (best financial friend), and some hints and tips as food for thought on how to get your personal finances in order and make your money go further. Watch it back below!

Talk Money Week

Money… while it can’t buy you happiness, there’s no denying it’s a huge part of our lives, particularly in the current climate. For those of you who already know about Hayley’s #BreakTheTaboo mission, it’ll come as no surprise that she used Talk Money Week to, well, talk money!

She believes that the more we talk about money and try to normalise it, the easier it will be to deal with the stress and pressure it can create. She’s on a mission to #BreakTheTaboo surrounding money, to promote better understanding and encourage people to learn, share and talk about money until it’s no longer a feared subject shrouded in shame.

And even though we all work in finance, that does not mean that we are any better at handling our money or knowing where to start when it comes to things like pensions and investments! That’s why we thought it was a good idea to run some Money Workshops to start these conversations off – even if it’s just a conversation with yourself!
